Is Oktoberfest a Free Festival?

Yes! All ages welcome! Attendees must purchase a stein and beer tickets to drink, but everyone is more than welcome to sit at any of the open tables, enjoy the music and purchase food from one of the many food tents.

What do I do when I get there?
Step 1. Get in line at one of our two designated Check-In areas, located on opposite sides of the festival. You will be able to purchase steins, beer tickets and receive your ‘Over 21’ wristband. Bring a valid ID. 
Step 2: Sit anywhere and enjoy the festival! More beer tickets can be purchased at any of the check-in tents or at the Water Tent located next to the Beer Pouring Tent.
Is the festival Kid friendly?

Absolutely! The Mountain View Oktoberfest is for the entire family. Echo Church has graciously provided a wonderful kids area full of arts & crafts, games, prizes and bouncy houses. 

Will there be food?

Yes! There will be plenty of authentic German options as well as modern culinary creations available for purchase.

Can I reserve a table?

Due to popular demand, this year we are allowing table reservations in our VIP Tent with added perks! No need to arrive extra early to claim your spot. Click HERE to reserve your table. Availability is limited. More info on the VIP TENT tab.

What if it rains?

Oktoberfest is on rain or shine! We have a massive tent and plenty of beer to keep you warm.

How do I get there?

The festival is conveniently located in Downtown Mountain, with access from Cal Train and the VTA. We also encourage anyone who plans on drinking to consider ride share options and/or have a designated driver.

I have leftover beer tickets, can I get a refund?

Unfortunately, no. All sales are final. Please note that last pour will be at 6:45pm both nights so plan accordingly.

When is last call?

Beer ticket sales end strictly at 6:30pm both nights, last pour is at 6:45pm both nights. Please plan on using your beer tickets before that time.

I'm volunteering, where do I go?
All volunteers should receive a confirmation email with information. If you haven’t received confirmation please email volunteer@mvoktoberfest.com.  The Volunteer Check-In tent is located on the corner of Villa St and Bryant St. 
Can I leave the festival with my beer?
No. All beer must be consumed on festival grounds. Signs are posted indicating festival boundaries.
Can I fly my drone?
No drones allowed. The police are pretty serious about this one.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards and cash. No ATMs will be available at the festival.
